Pietersite is a type of chalcedony, which is a variety of quartz. It is primarily composed of hawk's eye and tiger's eye. However, the blue pietersite is the most valuable.
Today, the only known places where Pietersite occurs naturally are in Kuraman, Namibia, and Xichuan, located in the Henan Province of China.
Pietersite develops in masses of Jasper, forming in the crevices where asbestos once was. It’s a rarity to find in nature, and it can be equally hard to get your hands on as a collector or healer.

Caring for Your Pieces:
- Do not use lotion, perfumes and other harsh chemicals around your piece of jewelry. It can leave residue and tarnish it quicker.
- Take off before going into the pool or jacuzzi. Chlorine is public enemy #1 and can eat away at solder and alloys in your jewelry over time.
- Water, Sweat and the Ocean can touch Solid 18KT and Sterling Silver no problem! Just ensure to dry each piece after getting it wet.
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Use a polishing cloth to wipe gently for shine.
- Lastly, you can create a homemade soap and water mix for a quick cleaning. In a bowl add 2-3 pumps of mild soap and 8oz of warm water, soak your piece in for 5-10 minutes, scrub gently with a clean toothbrush, rinse and dry thoroughly.

WHAT KIND OF MATERIALS DO YOU USE?
We use all precious metals, so that your pieces will last! We use either 925 Sterling Silver, 24KT Gold Plating over Sterling Silver or solid 18KT Gold.
There is no brass and gold/silver filled used in our products, so you won't have to worry about turning your finger green or pieces fading away. Our pieces are sturdy, solid and real.
